Puerto Viejo
Puerto Viejo is farther down the road from Cahuita, it's become increasingly more popular and has a livelier atmosphere, due in part to the many surfers who come here from around the country ( and around the world ) to ride the village's famous Salsa Brava wave. For nonsurfers, there are also some good swimming beaches, plenty of active vacation options, nearby rainforest trails, and some great local and international restaurants. This area gets plenty of rain, just like the rest of the coast (Sept-Oct are your best bets for sun, although it's not guaranteed even in those months).
We are located in front of Cocles Beach (awarded with the Costa Rican Government Blue Flag for clean beaches), 1,5 km south of Puerto Viejo of Talamanca, on the road to Manzanillo, South Caribbean Coast.
