Liberia-Rincon de la Vieja
Liberia is a friendly and open city compared to other Costa Rican cities of the same size. Liberia is a gateway to some of the most beautiful beaches and National Parks of Costa Rica. Currently most travelers use Liberia as a base to visit areas such as the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano and Santa Rosa National Park. Rincon de la Vieja National Park, is one of Costa Rica’s most diverse ecological parks. Known for its stunning diversity of flora and fauna, this national park is home to two volcanoes, the Rincon de la Vieja and the Santa Maria, as well as six different volcanic peaks, and thirty two rivers and streams.
