Golfo Dulce
The Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve protects forested lowland areas surrounding the Golfo Dulce Costa Rica and the Osa Peninsula, Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. These are fragmented, dense evergreen forests which provide a biological corridor, connecting multiple wildlife refuges and national parks surrounding the Golfo Dulce Costa Rica. The calm waters along the beaches and bays of the Golfo Dulce Costa Rica have great attraction to tourists seeking peaceful swimming, wildlife, nature and birdwatching.
We are located on a quiet dead-end street just a 5 min. walk from downtown Puerto Jiménez and you will fall asleep listening to the gentle waves of the Golfo Dulce.
Jutting out from the southern coast of Costa Rica, lies the Osa Peninsula, the country’s wildest and most spectacular region. The peninsula is bordered on the east by the Golfo Dulce and on the west, the Pacific Ocean.
Playa Preciosa Lodge is a Nature Lodge with four bungalows on a 12 hectare reserve right at the beach on Golfo Dulce and the Osa Peninsula. The bungalows are located amidst a tropical garden and perfectly hidden in the jungle.
