Cañas
This area is known as ‘sabanas’ and is often referred to as ‘cowboy country,’ as plenty of cattle raising farms are found around here. Known for its folk dancing and cattle ranches, Cañas is a small town with a unique charm that is all its own. Cañas is a relatively unknown place with few tourists coming here. However, this town is has a number of services and facilities including a few banks, bars, some lovely local restaurants, internet cafes, supermarkets, hotels and a hospital.
