Consider surfing.  Jaco beach is one of the premier places to learn how to surf.  We have the surfing instructors that can teach you how if you have never surfed before.  The waves are great for the beginner and intermediate surfers.  If the surf is really up, the waves tend to close out, and then, Hermosa Beach is only a few minutes to the north for more experienced surfers that know how to ride big waves.  Playa Hermosa is one of the most powerful shore breaks in the world, so Jaco Beach is better for most vacationing surfers.

Sport fishing!  Yes, we have it, with our own 27 foot watercraft, especially rigged for fishing.  We have the best captains on the coast that know just where the fish are biting so you'll have a successful day!  The harbor is just a short ride south to the beautiful Los Suenos Marriott Resort Marina.  There, you can take a half or full day fishing trip and be in the same fishing grounds where some of the world's greatest catches have been made. Costa Rica is about fishing, and our staff at Hotel Tangeri will make all the arrangements for your charter boat, lunch, transportation, and even prepare you catch for dinner in our restaurant!
