At the Samoa near the Tortuguero National Park, you will find the whole beauty of this tropical Rain Forest right at your doorstep. From our Lodge you can reach the rainforest, the National Park, the nesting of the green turtle, but most of all it is the most amazing area you can imagine.
The tourist who comes to Samoa Lodge will enjoy excursions on the river into the Tortuguero Canals or on the trails into the woods. Whatever the way, it is for sure that will never forget the experiences in this tropical fantasy encounter.
  On the Hotel property you have the possibility to take a walk on the different trails through exuberant vegetation full of life, as well as through the gardens on the property to discover various species of exotic and tropical flowers. If you participate in a canal tour during this adventure you will see more flora and fauna than you can imagine. I saw at least fifty monkeys (three different species), lots of toucans, parrots, trogons, poison frogs, turtles and a wide variety of birds in just a three hour boat-ride through the secondary channels.
