The lodge is small and rustic with rooms overlooking the river. Bathrooms are shared and have hot water. There is a fan in every room. We serve delicious meals featuring fresh seafood, tropical fruits and vegetables and exotic fruit drinks.
The transitional forests of Carara are home to a large number of birds - Scarlet Macaws, Three-wattled bellbirds and Long-tailed, Orange-collared and Blue crowned manakins. Many mammals also call Carara home. Howler and White-throated capuchin monkeys, white-nosed coatis and the Collared Anteater are all regularly seen.
