The Sueño Azul Resort's private rain forest reserve is home to a large variety of birds, such as toucans, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, herons, quetzal, and green macaws among others. Guests may enjoy nature walks to stunning waterfalls, river rafting, canopy tours, bird watching and hiking tours, horseback riding, fly fishing, mountain biking and more.
Set amid lush gardens, the Sueño Azul's 25 rustic-style rooms feature two queen-size beds, private bath/shower, hot water, hair dryer, ceiling fan and a private terrace overlooking the lake, mountains and river.
The open-air restaurant/bar is located in the main courtyard, which is built around an ancient hacienda. Here guests gather with family and friends to savor both traditional Costa Rican and international cuisine in a familiar, friendly atmosphere.
