Rio Sierpe Lodge, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica

Located near Violin Island and the mouth of the Rio Sierpe, the remote location (accesible only by boat) provides an escape from towns, villages and tourist developments. Guest can see monkeys, toucans, macaws, sea turtles, crocodiles, etc. at the Lodge. The adjacent forests and mangroves also have nearly all of the flora and fauna of the Osa Peninsula.
 
Guests from more than 50 countries have enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the Lodge with its host Mike Stiles over the previous 16 years. Mike traveled and worked throughout Africa and Latin America and has brought concepts and ideas from those travels to the Lodge.
