The restaurant and lobby are on a small observation platform with a view of the gulf and beach. Rich local food is the speciality of the restaurant. Enjoy the fresh fish dinners or the complimentary breakfasts with platanes, papayas, mangos and other tropical fruit. Relax in the hammock with a fresh fruit punch or a tropical long drink.
The entire property is part of the National Refuge Platanares / Preciosa that also includes adjacent mangrove and beach areas. Golfo Dulce and Osa Peninsula are Costa Rica's most valuable biological zones. An endemic species of dolphin roams only the waters of this gulf and nowhere else in the world. The beach is right in front of your bungalow and it is great for swimming, sea kayaking, boating and fishing, horseback riding and visits to Corcovado National Park. The Playa Preciosa Lodge bungalows are spacious with a comfortable upper deck and balcony. In the evening you sit and listen to the voices of the jungle. From your bed you can watch the animals in the morning. On the tiled ground floor you find your private bathroom, a second bed and a table with chairs.
