It's at the Mirador de Quetzales, where you can admire the Quetzal (Pharomachrus mocinno), the bird the Aztecs adored, at its best! The Quetzal is considered one of the most beautiful birds in the tropics. Enjoy the warmth of the lodge, surrounded by Tropical Cloud Forest and clear water creeks. Here you'll find individual cabins as well as rooms in the Lodge. Also in the Lodge there is the kitchen and dining area where you'll be able to enjoy different Costa Rican dishes. The rates include tax, breakfast, dinner, and quetzal watch tour in the forest, as well as the access to self-guided trail for bird watching and medicinal and edible plant observation. The tour usually begins at 6:00 every morning.
