It is owned and operated by a Costa Rican family dedicated to nature conservation and rainforest research. It is located in the South Pacific on the Golfo Dulce and was constructed and is maintained in total harmony with the ecosystem which surrounds it. The main building of Las Gaviotas Hotel has a spacious open living room finished with native woods (rosewood and teak) matching the rustic polished floor, gift shop, bar and restaurant. From the well maintained and well positioned pool, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the gulf. La Gaviota is also a great starting point to experience the Osa Península one the most biologically intense place on earth.
The rooms of the Hotel Las Gaviotas have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, private bath with warm water and a small kitchenette where you can cook your catch of the day.
