Hotel 1492 Jade y Oro, San Jose, Costa Rica

The guest will enjoy a particular peace, and comfort at the hotel; it is a cozy and lavishly decorated Spanish-style building originally built as a private residence; it has been beautifully restored and comfortably furnished as a small hotel. Built in l941, the house retains its original structure and design, with its high ceilings, inner archways, chimney and original Portuguese tile floors and bright tropical flowers.
The ten rooms of the Hotel 1492 Jade y Oro have private bathrooms with showers. Seven rooms are single with a double bed, and three deluxe rooms have two double beds. With ceiling fans, no air conditioning is needed. Children are welcomed, as well as well-behaved pets. Two rooms are for smokers. Full Breakfast includes: a variety of fruits, typical food, tea, and delicious Costa Rican coffee. The rooms have hair dryer, colour cable TV, telephone, and security boxes. There is 24-hour security, laundry service and medical assistance, parking lot, luggage storage, express fast food, mini shop, mini bar, and fax service.
