Hostel Maleku, Alajuela, Costa Rica
------------------------------------
The Maleku is an Indian Tribe that still teaches their own language in school. They even have a small radio-station where they speak Maleku. They live near the Arenal Volcano and if you go there you should visit them. The Hostel Maleku is the perfect base for your Alajuela adventures if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg. From here you may not only visit the Maleku Indigenous but also the Poás Volcano or the La Paz Waterfalls.
Pamela your young hostess used to work in a Travel Agency and will be happy to help you around and organize your tours and transportation. Just around the corner there is a Butterfly Farm and a beautiful Bird Zoo you shouldn't miss. If you are on a budget but like to have perfectly clean beds and a young philosophy, the Maleku Hostel is your place to stay.
These clean, small rooms have very nice large and comfortable bunker-beds. These rooms are meant to sleep in and nothing else. To sit around, watch TV, the Internet, and chat with your friends you'll best do in one of the several common areas like the TV room or the dining area near the kitchen.
