An ornithologist's paradise, you can observe a wide variety of birds feeding on the fruits and seeds of the surrounding jungle. Here you can get close to humming birds, parrots, trogons, birds of prey, jacamars, toucans, manakins, orioles and tanagers. Over 300 species are counted in our reserve and close surroundings as well as many different mammals, reptiles and amphibians. We often see poison dart frogs, iguanas, kinkajous, sloths, coatimundis, opossums, agoutis, anteaters and others.
At CHIMURI we wish to share with you a sense of simplicity and the opportunity to feel close to nature. Experience a place of peace, tranquility, and a way to enjoy the richness of sounds, smells and textures of the tropical forest.
We offer comfortable and spacious cabins, one quadruple and three doubles, a dormitory with bunk beds which sleeps 8 persons. Each bed is provided with linens and mosquito netting.
The bathing facilities are centralized, with a private unit for each room. There is a communal fully equipped kitchen house which also serves as class room when needed.
